So while waiting for her comeback, I decided to create a list of my most favorite books from hers and maybe you guys would want to check out. ![]() And yep, that’s when I became a fan.Īfter publishing Ghost of You and Me (which sadly I just read recently so it’s not yet in the list hehe) she dropped the news that she’ll be on hiatus because she’s recovering from her sickness. I can always stop when I happen to not like it but my! I ended up binged reading the whole series. I hate long reads before but she was recommended by a friend and it was the only book of hers in my TBR since I’ve got it directly from the author when I signed up for her mailing list. The very first book that I’ve read from Kelly Oram was the Supernaturals series and it was also the very first series that I’ve tried. ![]()

Bridging acquaintances with numerous others at the facility, Frey is able to compare his life against those of others who have also had to battle addiction. ![]() The reader discovers, through Frey’s own narrative, how withdrawn he feels about the process and how, while being frank about the depths to which his addiction overtook his life, he does not feel that a counselling and Twelve Step approach will reunite the million pieces into which his life has shattered over the thirteen years since addiction formally reared its ugly head. His arrival garners much confusion and pushback, as Frey expresses feeling that he did not belong or fit in amongst others who are at various stages of addiction. Opening in dramatic fashion, the reader is immediately treated to Frey circling the drain as he lands in Chicago and is shipped off to an unnamed facility in Minnesota. In his much-debated book, Frey offers the reader a significant glimpse into his life as an addict and the time he spent in a treatment centre addressing these demons. ![]() ![]() Freddie's obtuseness does little to help along a gruel-thin story. This is a staunchly old-fashioned story, taking fully 100 pages to get moving, and by the time things pick up, the gist of the narrative will be obvious to anyone who has ever sat through a Twilight Zone episode. Kate Mosse is the author of the 1 International bestseller Labyrinth, and a presenter for BBC television and radio in London. The Winter Ghosts is in some ways very different from Kates previous books, but also similar in other ways. This story is so tediously over-written, that I am not sure I can finish it.
